We deliver responsive, programmed, vacant and project-based flooring works, working closely with government agencies and facilities maintenance providers to achieve reliable, compliant and high-quality outcomes.

All flooring services are carefully staged and carried out with patience, care and respect, with a strong focus on maintaining safe access, minimising disruption and protecting each resident’s privacy, safety and dignity throughout every stage of the work.
Compliance and performance. Works are coordinated with project specifications, applicable Homes NSW maintenance specifications and Component Requirements, manufacturer instructions, the National Construction Code (NCC), current Australian Standards and applicable NSW requirements. Depending on the scope, relevant standards may include AS 1884 for resilient flooring installation, AS/NZS 2455.1 for textile floor coverings, AS 4586 for slip resistance, AS 1428.1 for access and mobility, and AS ISO 9239-1 for flooring fire performance. Product selection also considers approved materials, hygiene and cleanability, moisture and acoustic suitability, accessible transitions and whole-of-life durability.
GOATS Flooring provides safe, hygienic and durable flooring solutions for healthcare, education and community facilities, including hospitals, medical and allied health settings, schools, early-learning centres, community centres, libraries, sporting venues and other public facilities. We deliver fit-for-purpose finishes for high-use and safety-sensitive environments, supporting heavy traffic, cleaning regimes, mobility needs and ongoing operations.
We work closely with government agencies, facilities maintenance providers, builders and project managers. Flooring selection, preparation and installation are coordinated with project specifications, manufacturer instructions, the National Construction Code (NCC), applicable work health and safety and NSW requirements, and current editions of relevant standards.
Core flooring, safety and access. Relevant references may include AS 1884 for resilient flooring; AS/NZS 2455.1 and AS/NZS 2455.2 for textile floor coverings; AS 4586 and AS 4663 for slip resistance; AS 1428.1 and the Disability (Access to Premises – Buildings) Standards 2010 for accessible paths, thresholds and transitions; and AS ISO 9239.1 with NCC fire-hazard provisions for floor coverings. Wet areas are detailed to applicable waterproofing, drainage and slip-resistance requirements.
Healthcare. Where applicable, work is coordinated with the Australasian Health Facility Guidelines, NSW Health infection-prevention and environmental-cleaning requirements, the NSQHS Preventing and Controlling Infections Standard, and AS/NZS 5369 for sterilising or reprocessing areas. Finishes may require smooth, impervious, seamless, coved, repairable and disinfectant-resistant construction.
Education and community facilities. Works may also follow current NSW Department of Education Educational Facilities Standards and Guidelines, including room-specific finishes, water resistance, drainage, accessible grades and flush thresholds. Food areas may require AS 4674 and the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code, including Standard 3.2.3 – Food Premises and Equipment and, where applicable, Standard 3.3.1 – Food Safety Programs for Food Service to Vulnerable Persons. Reference: Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ), foodstandards.gov.au. Acoustic, static control, impact resistance, low-VOC, cleanability and whole-of-life durability requirements are considered where relevant.
GOATS Flooring provides durable, practical and high-quality flooring solutions for offices, retail premises, hospitality venues, workshops, warehouses and specialised facilities. Flooring systems are selected to suit each site’s operational, safety and performance requirements, including heavy foot traffic, wheeled loads, impact, moisture, cleaning, grease, oils and chemicals where applicable.
We work closely with builders, facilities maintenance providers, project managers and business owners to deliver reliable and compliant outcomes. Flooring selections and installation are coordinated with project specifications, manufacturer instructions and applicable NCC, work health and safety requirements and Australian Standards. Where relevant, consideration is given to slip resistance and level transitions, accessibility, fire-hazard performance, subfloor and moisture conditions, chemical and impact resistance, hygiene and cleanability, acoustic suitability and static control. In food premises, finishes can be detailed to support effective cleaning, sanitising and pest-exclusion requirements. Works are carefully staged to minimise disruption and maintain safe access.

Our residential service includes product guidance, preparation and professional installation for the home, helping clients select finishes suited to each room, lifestyle, appearance, comfort, maintenance needs, budget and long-term performance.
We manage each project from site assessment and subfloor evaluation through to installation, finishing and care guidance. Works are coordinated with project specifications, manufacturer instructions and applicable NCC, NSW building requirements and Australian Standards. Where relevant, consideration is given to substrate moisture and flatness, slip resistance and
safe transitions, wet-area and waterproofing interfaces, acoustic and fire requirements for multi-residential buildings, strata approvals, underfloor-heating compatibility and product care and warranty requirements.
Installations are carefully planned to minimise disruption and protect the home.
